    Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy

    BEIS replaced the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) and the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) in July 2016. The UK energy label generator, latest policy and legislation pertaining the new energy labelling can be found on their website.

  • Compliance

    Office for Product Safety and Standards

    OPSS is the UK Government’s enforcement authority for a range of goods-based and standards-based regulations. They regulate a wide range of products with a focus on their safety and integrity. Responsibility for enforcing the new energy label regulations is shared by the Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS), local authorities and the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA).

    Energy Saving Trust

    Energy Saving Trust is an independent organisation working to address the climate emergency. A respected and trusted voice on energy efficiency and clean energy solutions, they continue to work towards a smart, decarbonised, decentralised energy system.

    Energy Saving Trust is one of 15 delivery partners for Label2020. Their role in the transition to a new energy label is to help establish effective collaboration between policy makers, manufacturers and retailers, and manage consumer marketing and communications in the UK.
